Job Title: Workforce Software Consultant (Freelance)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Client Site Travel as Required)
Contract: Freelance / Contract
Duration: 6–12 Months (Extension Possible)

Overview

Our consulting client is looking for an experienced Workforce Software Consultant to join a major Time & Attendance transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale implementation for a global organisation, collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver a successful Workforce Software solution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the implementation of Workforce Software Time & Attendance solutions.
  • Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Configure Workforce Software modules in line with business and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct workshops with key stakeholders to define business processes and solution design.
  • Support integration activities with HR, Payroll, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
  • Develop functional specifications and support technical teams during development.
  • Create and execute test scripts, supporting SIT, UAT, and production readiness.
  • Provide end-user training, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering Workforce Software Time & Attendance implementations.
  • Strong functional configuration experience across Workforce Software.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of workforce management processes including scheduling, absence management, overtime, and labour rules.
  • Experience integrating Workforce Software with HRIS and Payroll systems.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
  • Experience working on international or multi-country implementations is highly desirable.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience integrating with SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or other enterprise HR systems.
  • Knowledge of APIs, interfaces, and middleware solutions.
  • Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Previous consulting experience with global organisations.
