Senior DevOps Engineer - (Remote Europe)

For a global client we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support on a remote contract for 3-6 months (extension likely).
You must speak at least C1 German.

The Role

  • Over 5 years experience with large scale IT projecys or large enterprise organisations
  • Hands on full end to end lifecycle management
  • Experience with on-call support
  • Support backend implementation along with typical DevOps support and activities 

Job Description

  • Design and manage scalable, containerized infrastructure using Kubernetes
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
  • Deploy and manage applications using Helm/Helmfile
  • Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Implement monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch)
  • Work with distributed systems including Kafka and Camunda
  • Manage databases such as PostgreSQL
  • Collaborate with developers working on Java (Spring Boot) applications
  • Drive test automation and deployment automation practices
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and security
  • Work with GitOps tools like ArgoCD (good to have)
  • Basic understanding of frontend frameworks like Angular (nice to have)
