SAP EWM Consultant – Embedded EWM

Contract Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to join a large-scale, international SAP transformation programme involving Embedded SAP EWM.

This is a long-term opportunity, initially for 12 months with potential extensions, starting in October 2026. The wider programme is expected to run for approximately three years, across multiple release waves and locations.

The Role

The SAP EWM Consultant will play a key role in the design, implementation and rollout of Embedded EWM within SAP S/4HANA as part of a major international transformation programme.

The programme will involve 20+ locations across multiple countries and is structured around three major release waves. The successful consultant will contribute to the initial implementation and subsequent rollouts, helping establish a strong and scalable EWM solution across the programme.

Over the course of the programme, there is also an objective to develop an internal SAP EWM competence, meaning the consultant will have the opportunity to contribute not only to delivery but also to knowledge transfer, best practice and capability development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and implement SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM solutions.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective EWM processes and solutions.
  • Work across key EWM processes including inbound, outbound, warehouse operations, stock movements and inventory management.
  • Support integration between EWM and other SAP components, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
  • Participate in solution design, configuration, testing and deployment activities.
  • Support multiple international rollout waves and locations.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams and technical teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EWM-related issues throughout implementation and deployment.
  • Contribute to EWM standards, documentation and best practices.
  • Support knowledge transfer and the development of internal EWM capability.
  • Provide support during go-live and subsequent stabilisation phases.
  • Be willing to undertake periodic international travel as required by the programme.

Experience & Skills

Essential

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM.
  • Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM implementations or rollouts.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and EWM functionality.
  • Experience with SAP EWM configuration and solution design.
  • Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation or rollout programmes.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfortable working in an international, multi-location environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% when required.
