Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of SAP transformation programmes, ranging from greenfield implementations and S/4HANA migrations to global template rollouts and business transformation initiatives.

You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP delivery methodologies and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technical functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP implementation and transformation projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, governance structures, and reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, technical teams, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular project status updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed quality standards, budgets, and timescales.
  • Support change management, user adoption, testing, training, and cutover activities.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships across the business.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP implementation methodologies such as SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
  • Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering multiple SAP implementation or transformation projects.
  • Strong background in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Experience managing projects across one or more SAP functional areas, including Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM, SD, PP), Procurement, EWM, WM, PM, QM, HR, or SuccessFactors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, timelines, and third-party vendors.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business leaders and executive sponsors.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, RAID management, and reporting.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
