Senior Platform Engineer – 12‑Month Contract

Overview

The Senior Platform Engineer will design, build, and optimise cloud‑native platforms that support large‑scale applications and services. You’ll play a key role in enabling automation, scalability, and reliability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain cloud platform components (Azure preferred)

  • Develop infrastructure‑as‑code solutions (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, etc.)

  • Improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability

  • Collaborate with Automation, Security, and SRE teams

  • Troubleshoot complex platform issues and drive root‑cause analysis

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Requirements

  • Strong experience in cloud engineering and platform development

  • Proficiency with IaC tools and DevOps pipelines

  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and containerisation

  • Experience in enterprise‑scale environments

  • Dutch‑speaking

  • On‑site availability 1–2 days per week in Amstelveen
