Senior Automation Engineer – 12‑Month Contract

Overview

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will drive automation across infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes. You’ll help reduce manual work, increase efficiency, and support the organisation’s cloud transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automation frameworks and tooling

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments

  • Develop scripts and pipelines to streamline engineering workflows

  • Collaborate with Platform, Security, and SRE teams

  • Ensure automation aligns with compliance and security standards

  • Troubleshoot automation failures and optimise performance

Requirements

  • Strong experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

  • Experience with CI/CD and cloud‑native automation

  • Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills

  • Dutch‑speaking

  • Hybrid working: 1–2 days per week in Amstelveen
