Job Title: SAP SD OTC Consultant (E-Invoicing Focus)
Location: Paris, France (20% on-site)
Contract Duration: 4–6 months (initial), ongoing project

Project Context

A small luxury-sector organisation in Paris is seeking an SAP SD OTC consultant to support an ongoing S/4HANA programme. This role is a replacement for a departing consultant, making it time-critical to maintain delivery momentum, particularly across e-invoicing streams.

Role Overview

The consultant will operate within the Order-to-Cash (OTC) workstream, with a primary focus on electronic invoicing compliance and integration. The role requires hands-on configuration capability alongside coordination with finance and external compliance providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support SAP SD OTC processes (order management, billing, invoicing)
  • Lead and stabilise e-invoicing implementation, ensuring compliance with French and EU regulations
  • Integrate SAP billing outputs with external e-invoicing platforms/providers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting invoice generation and transmission
  • Collaborate with FI teams to ensure accurate financial posting and reconciliation
  • Support ongoing testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and production issue resolution
  • Document configurations and provide knowledge transfer where required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) within ECC or S/4HANA
  • Proven delivery experience with SAP e-invoicing solutions (e.g., PEPPOL, local compliance frameworks, middleware integrations)
  • Solid understanding of billing, pricing, and output determination
  • Experience working in live / stabilisation phase projects
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a replacement / handover scenario

Desirable (Not Mandatory)

  • Exposure to SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) and its integration with SD
  • Experience in luxury, retail, or consumer goods sectors
  • Familiarity with European tax and invoicing compliance landscapes

Additional Information

  • Immediate need due to consultant exit – critical role for project continuity
  • Hybrid model: ~20% on-site in Paris, remainder remote
  • Potential for extension beyond initial 4–6 month contract
