SAP S/4 HANA Management Reporting Analytics

Our client are a global SI and have won a major SAP Finance transformation in the Life Science industry. We need experts with the following experience:

  • ~12-15 years of relevant experience with domain experience
  • At least 4 end-to-end S/4 HANA or CFIN implementations with Reporting and Analytics solutions.
  • Deep functional knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Central Finance reporting capabilities, Universal Journal data model, and reporting solutions covering operational, management, legal/statutory, and group reporting requirements
  • Hands-on Expertise of finance reporting architecture across S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BW/4HANA, Datasphere, and legacy BW landscapes
  • Strong understanding of the S/4 HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and its implications for management reporting design and data availability
  • Solid grasp of core management reporting concepts: P&L structures, contribution margin analysis, cost allocation methodologies, intercompany reporting, and variance analysis
  • In-depth understanding of:
  • Standard Analytical FIORIs, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics, BW/4HANA, and Analysis for Office from a finance reporting, actuals vs planning perspective
  • Strong understanding of finance reporting KPIs and reporting packs including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Margin Analysis, Working Capital, Cost Centre reporting, and Executive dashboards
  • Integration between Management Accounting (CO) and the reporting layer: cost allocations, Profit centre hierarchies, cost centre groups, and segment-level P&L views
  • Experience in designing reporting hierarchies, KPI definitions, drill-down logic, and self-service analytics capabilities for Finance and FP&A users
  • Experience working with CDS Views, Embedded Analytics queries, and SAC story consumption for finance reporting scenarios
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills with ability to engage CFO, Controllership, FP&A, and business finance teams
  • Finance qualification (CA, CMA, MBA Finance) or equivalent is a strong advantage; SAP S/4 HANA Management Accounting Associate certification is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage and guide junior consultants
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mindset
