SAP Project Manager (S/4HANA Transformation)

Salary Range: €90,000 – €120,000 per annum
Location: Germany (fully remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead complex SAP transformation and rollout initiatives within a consulting environment. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, hands-on consultant who takes true ownership of projects, works end to end with clients, and proactively drives delivery rather than waiting for direction.

You will be responsible for managing SAP S/4HANA migration and rollout projects, primarily within manufacturing environments, working closely with presales, delivery, and sales teams to ensure realistic planning and successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP S/4HANA and ECC migration projects, with a strong focus on brownfield approaches

  • Manage full SAP rollouts, from project initiation through go-live and hypercare

  • Own project governance, planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication

  • Act as the main interface between client stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and external partners

  • Contribute to presales activities, including solution design, effort estimation, proposal creation, and client presentations

  • Support client visits, workshops, and steering committee meetings

  • Ensure delivery quality, timelines, and budgets are met

  • Drive continuous improvement and actively identify follow-on opportunities within client engagements

Required Experience & Skills

Hard Skills

  • Proven experience managing SAP S/4HANA and ECC migration projects

  • Strong background in SAP rollout projects

  • Solid experience delivering SAP brownfield transformations

  • Industry experience within manufacturing environments

  • Ideally 3 or more completed SAP S/4HANA projects in a project management or lead role

  • Highly proactive problem-solver with a pragmatic approach

  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset

  • Acts as an owner, not an order-taker

  • Comfortable working end to end across delivery, presales, and client engagement

  • Confident communicator with senior stakeholders

  • Fluent German (spoken and written) is essential
