SAP PP – German Speaking Senior Consultant

For one of our strongest consulting clients, Next Ventures are searching for an SAP PP consultant to join a project for a large manufacturing client based near Hannover. 

This is a hands-on functional role with strong involvement across production planning, manufacturing execution, and template governance within a complex discrete manufacturing environment.

The role will involve:

  • Leading SAP PP design and configuration activities across organisational structure, master data, planning, and execution processes.
  • Working with advanced manufacturing concepts including Kanban and graphical planning board functionality.
  • Collaborating closely with FICO, MM, and WM teams to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
  • Supporting Fit-to-Template / Explore workshops and helping drive standardisation across multiple rollout countries.
  • Acting as a key contributor in protecting the global template and providing robust, scalable solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Supporting data migration activities using standard SAP toolsets for controlling and manufacturing-related objects.
  • Engaging with MES integration topics; experience with LMPC (Lean Manufacturing Planning and Control) would be considered a strong advantage.

We’re looking for consultants who have:

  • Around 5+ years of SAP project experience with deep expertise in SAP Production Planning.
  • Experience delivering at least two end-to-end SAP implementations across the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience participating in at least two SAP S/4HANA rollout programmes.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge deviations from the global template when required.
