I'm currently recruiting for an exciting long-term freelance opportunity for an SAP PP VC Consultant supporting a global S/4HANA implementation for a global leader in the manufacturing industry.

Role: SAP PP CONSULTANT
Location: Aachen, Germany 
Onsite work: every 2 weeks- Tuesday to Thursday 
Duration: 9 months with Extension

Job Description below:

• Set Up Data Models (Classes, Characteristics, Variant Tables, Configuration Profiles, Object Dependencies, BOMs, Routings & Production Versions)
• Explain and demonstrate the functional processes
• Collaborate on the ePP/DS requirements for the advanced production planning and align the design with the production execution
• Involve global Core Solutions and their process integration like the IN4.ORM MES system
• Insulation: Work on SuperBOM and SuperRouting + Variant table design including Scrap and Cullet Management
• Consult on process visualization for business documentation with the Business Process Owners

Consult local business in data preparation for the data migration processes:
• Explain important parts in the S4 material master

• Consult to set up data quality rules -> what to keep, what to defer, what to transform
• Find the right data for characteristic values and the variant tables

Review and drive configuration (e.g. SPRO) with the implementation partner

• Translate business requirements into Configuration needed in SAP
• Validate configuration documentation (CFDs) and follow-up the actual configuration with the supplier
• Organize the transports needed with the implementation partner for the configuration across the system landscape.
• Support Retrofitting of new requirements into the live-system "Maintenance Line"
