Role: hands‑on Application Management Support (AMS) for SAP PS (primary) and FICO (secondary), plus backup support for MM/SD. The consultant will manage incidents, minor enhancements, and change requests, and work closely with business users and ABAP developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and resolve PS/FICO incidents (via ServiceNow), respecting SLAs.
- Analyze and fix functional issues in a highly customized ECC landscape.
- Provide backup support for MM/SD during colleague absences.
- Analyze, specify, and support delivery of minor enhancements and change requests.
- Write functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers (no coding).
- Act as primary functional contact for PS/FICO end users.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing, including evenings/weekends when required.
- Participate in knowledge transfer with the outgoing consultant.
- Contribute to process/configuration documentation.
Functional Scope
PS (core focus): WBS, Networks, Activities, cost/budget/date planning; full CATS cycle; PS–MM integration (PR/PO on WBS); T&M, fixed price, milestone billing (PS–SD); revenue recognition and results analysis (RA); PS–FI/CO integration; PS reporting; support of Z‑programs, custom fields/tables, and workflows.
FICO: G/L, AR, AP, Asset Accounting; CO (cost centers, internal orders, profit centers, project controlling/settlement); PS–FI/CO integration; support to financial closing; standard and custom FI/CO reporting.
MM/SD (backup): basic procurement (PO, GR, IV) and SD sales/delivery/billing, sufficient for temporary coverage.
Required Profile
- 5+ years SAP functional experience, with strong hands‑on PS in ECC.
- Solid FICO experience, especially CO and PS–FI/CO integration.
- Proven work in heavily customized ECC (Z‑programs, custom tables, workflows).
- AMS experience: incident/change management and SLA‑driven support.
- Ability to produce clear functional specs for ABAP teams.
- Familiarity with CATS and financial closing processes.
- Comfortable in direct end‑user support.
- ServiceNow or similar ITSM experience; ITIL knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Structured, autonomous, and team‑oriented; strong documentation habits.
Languages & Logistics
- French: mandatory (main user support language).
- English: mandatory (team/project language).
- Full‑time, on‑site in Luxembourg with availability during closing periods.
Nice to Have
- Professional Services industry experience.
- ITIL Foundation; S/4HANA and ECC–S/4 migration exposure.
