Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Hypercare Lead Officer to oversee post-implementation support and service transition for a newly deployed SAP Ariba solution. This role will be critical in stabilising the platform, supporting procurement teams, and establishing effective service delivery within a local government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the hypercare phase following SAP Ariba implementation, ensuring system stability and user adoption
  • Act as the primary point of contact for procurement stakeholders, providing expert product guidance
  • Identify, manage, and resolve system issues, coordinating with technical teams and vendors as required
  • Establish and embed service delivery processes, including incident, problem, and change management
  • Support knowledge transfer and training for internal teams and end users
  • Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop documentation, support models, and best practices for ongoing operations

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Ariba (e.g., Sourcing, Buying, Contracts, or Supplier Management)
  • Proven experience leading hypercare or post-go-live support phases for SAP implementations
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and service delivery models
  • Experience working with or within public sector / local government environments (desirable)
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, service-oriented approach
