Contract / Full‑time — Hybrid / Remote
The IT Engineer will operate across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and data engineering, delivering secure, scalable, and reliable technical solutions that support enterprise operations. This role is ideal for engineers who can work across multiple layers of the stack — from cloud environments and automation to data pipelines, integrations, and platform reliability.
You will design, build, and maintain cloud‑ready infrastructure, support modern data workflows, and ensure systems are resilient, observable, and compliant. The role requires a hands‑on engineer with strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Implement landing zones, identity & access controls, networking, and security baselines.
Build automation for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using IaC (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
Manage core infrastructure components: Linux/Windows servers, storage, networking, firewalls, and virtualization.
Implement high‑availability, backup, disaster recovery, and performance tuning across environments.
Ensure platform reliability through observability (metrics, logs, traces) and incident response.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration across cloud and on‑prem systems.
Work with SQL, Python, and modern data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Data).
Support data modelling, validation, and quality controls to ensure consistent and trusted data flows.
Develop CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, data workloads, and application deployments.
Implement containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) and support microservice environments.
Improve operational efficiency through scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
