About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SmartRecruiters Lead to drive the successful management, optimisation, and continuous improvement of our SmartRecruiters platform and related talent acquisition initiatives. This role will serve as the primary functional lead for SmartRecruiters, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform delivers an outstanding recruitment experience while supporting business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines deep SmartRecruiters expertise with strong stakeholder management, project leadership, and process improvement skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management and strategic roadmap of the SmartRecruiters platform.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for SmartRecruiters across the organisation.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to optimise recruitment processes and system capabilities.
  • Gather, analyse, and prioritise business requirements for platform enhancements and new functionality.
  • Manage SmartRecruiters implementation projects, enhancements, upgrades, and releases.
  • Configure and maintain workflows, permissions, templates, forms, automations, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with HRIS, IT, Security, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless system integrations and data integrity.
  • Monitor system performance, user adoption, and reporting metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop governance standards, documentation, and best practices for platform usage.
  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to recruiters, hiring managers, and system administrators.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with SmartRecruiters Support on issue resolution and product enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, data privacy regulations, and recruitment governance standards.
  • Support global recruiting initiatives and process transformation programmes.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience leading or administering the SmartRecruiters platform.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Talent Acquisition and recruiting processes.
  • Experience delivering HR technology implementations or transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment workflows, and HR system integrations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience managing system releases, testing, change management, and user adoption activities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a global HR or Talent Acquisition environment.
  • Knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, reporting, and recruitment analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • SmartRecruiters certification or equivalent platform experience is highly desirable.
