Senior OpenText Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior OpenText Asset Manager Engineer and Administrator to join a growing technology team in Madrid. In this position, you’ll take ownership of a core platform, support ongoing development, and ensure the stability and evolution of the underlying infrastructure. You’ll work in a hybrid environment and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across multiple countries.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys platform ownership, solving complex technical issues, and working in an agile, highly collaborative setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the platform owner and primary technical point of contact

  • Handle internal development requests and troubleshoot platform issues

  • Collaborate with support, infrastructure, networking, and telecom teams to plan and implement platform enhancements

  • Write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases for new features and updates

  • Coordinate with release management to track and communicate deployment status

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience as an OpenText Asset Manager Engineer and Administrator

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Strong software engineering foundation and ability to work across complex systems

  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and IT Service Management practices

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

  • Comfortable working in hybrid environments and collaborating with distributed teams
