SAP PM / EAM Consultant

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Contract: 6 Month Initial Contract (+ possible extension)
Start Date: ASAP

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PM / EAM Consultant to support ongoing SAP initiatives for a client based in Amsterdam. The consultant will play a key role in supporting SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes, including system configuration, data migration, integrations, and user enablement.

This role requires strong functional expertise within SAP PM/EAM and experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional expertise in SAP PM / EAM modules.

  • Support Master Data Migration activities related to SAP PM/EAM.

  • Analyse business requirements and identify gaps, issues, and workaround solutions.

  • Configure and maintain key SAP PM components including:

    • Preventive Maintenance

    • Breakdown Maintenance

    • Corrective Maintenance

    • Refurbishment

    • Calibration

  • Support SAP S/4HANA PM/EAM functionality and related process changes.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation including:

    • Functional Design Documents

    • Test Cases and Test Results

  • Deliver end-user training and support business adoption.

  • Provide ongoing support for SAP integrations, including issue analysis and resolution.

  • Perform root cause analysis of system errors and implement corrective actions.

  • Utilize SAP Fiori apps and S/4HANA capabilities to enhance user experience and efficiency.

  • Design and implement maintenance KPIs and dashboards.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Asset Management solutions.

  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior consultants and business users.

  • Ensure quality delivery aligned with project timelines and budget.

  • Contribute to SAP rollout activities and methodologies.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of SAP PM / EAM consulting experience

  • Strong functional expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management

  • Experience supporting SAP PM configurations and implementations

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PM/EAM functionality

  • Experience with data migration and system integration support

  • Strong experience in functional documentation and testing processes

  • Proven ability to work in client-facing environments

Preferred Skills

  • SAP S/4HANA / SAP PM / EAM Certification

  • Experience working in the Utilities industry

  • Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies
