SAP HANA SCM PP ,PLM Integration Architect –for a  Manufacturing / Aerospace & Defense programme .

 Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a SAP PP / PLM SME for a new opportunity in Finland.

 *Applicants must Be EU nationals and eligiable to obtain NATO clearance or simlar.

Contract Details

  • Duration: Initial 12-month contract purchase order with 12 month extensions (programme duration up to 3 years)
  • Work Model: On-site / hybrid (dependent on security requirements)
  • Remote Working: Possible, subject to programme security constraints
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within Europe approximately once per month
  • Location: EU-based projects
  • Eligibility:
  • EU or UK passport holders
  • Willingness to undergo security clearance process

 

Experience:

  • Extensive experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementations for manufacturing and Defence customers.

 

  • Deep functional and configuration expertise in the SAP PP module, with strong emphasis on product lifecycle–related master data, including:

 

  • Material Master
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Routing
  • Production Version
  • Engineering Change Management (ECM)
  • Classification

 

  • Hands-on SAP configuration experience across all the above master data domains.
  • Strong understanding of PLM–SAP integration, with practical exposure to systems such as Aton and Teamcenter.
  • Proven ability to design end-to-end enterprise architecture integrating PLM, SAP, and MES in collaboration with SCM and Logistics stakeholders.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation and presentation skills, capable of engaging process owners, solution architects, and enterprise architects.

 

 Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of related SAP modules:
  • Project Systems (PS)
  • Procurement (MM)
  • Planning (PP-DS / MRP)
  • Inventory Management

 

  • Experience preparing and reviewing:
  • SAP process design documents
  • Functional specifications
  • Configuration documents
  • Especially in areas involving PLM–SAP integration and product lifecycle master data

 

Project Delivery & Lifecycle SupportParticipate in full lifecycle SAP programmes: Blueprint → Build → Test → Deploy → Support.

  • Define and review functional and technical specifications for RICEFW objects.
  • Support data migration, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
  • Support UAT, defect resolution, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Provide post-go-live optimisation and hypercare support.

 

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure solutions comply with government security classifications and defence regulations.
  • Apply defence standards where applicable (e.g. MoD, NATO frameworks).
  • Support secure role and authorisation design (SAP GRC, PFCG).
  • Operate effectively within classified, regulated, and audited environments.
