Our client is seeking an experienced SAP professional to join their Technology and Transformation practice, with a focus on delivering large-scale S/4HANA and SAP-enabled Finance Transformation programmes.

This organisation has a well-established presence in SAP consulting, supporting clients through advisory, implementation, and operational services to deliver impactful, enterprise-wide transformation.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager – SAP Finance (S/4HANA), you will play a key leadership role in delivering finance transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading teams of functional consultants to design and deliver SAP finance solutions across large-scale transformation programmes
  • Advising clients on best practice use of SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting capabilities
  • Driving business process design and ensuring alignment with SAP standard functionality
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships at senior levels
  • Supporting business development activities and contributing to practice growth
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members
  • Keeping up to date with SAP innovations, including AI and automation within finance
  • Supporting delivery using modern implementation methodologies

Key Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting, including:
    • General Ledger
    • Group Reporting
    • Asset Accounting
    • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Solid understanding of finance processes such as Month-End Close, Financial Consolidation, and Intercompany accounting within multinational organisations
  • Experience designing SAP Enterprise Structures aligned to business requirements
  • Proven ability to lead fit-to-standard workshops and translate requirements into functional design
  • Hands-on configuration experience across SAP S/4HANA modules
  • Experience producing and reviewing functional and design documentation
  • Strong understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
  • Experience working within structured project governance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Additional Requirement:

  • Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) is required due to public sector engagements

Desirable

  • ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience within public sector projects
  • Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, or other financial reporting standards
