Our client is expanding its SAP Consulting team on an initial 12 month+ contract to meet the growing demand for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects across Europe and beyond. We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FI-CO Consultant who excels in designing high-quality solutions, advising clients on best practices, and leading business transformation initiatives. Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 10 years of SAP experience, including at least 5 years of consulting experience with multiple full-lifecycle implementation projects.

  • Extensive expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), including configuration, integration, and process design.

  • Proven ability to lead design workshops, gather requirements, and define business processes in collaboration with client stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a plus, with familiarity in fit-to-standard and Activate methodology.

  • Strong client relationship management skills, acting as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders.

  • Experience with cross-functional integration, particularly with MM, SD, or Project Systems.

  • Mentorship experience, with a focus on developing junior consultants and sharing knowledge within the team.

  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end financial, controlling, and reporting business processes.

  • Strong analytical, structured approach to problem-solving and solution design.

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.

  • Proactive, team-oriented, and collaborative mindset, with a consulting-focused approach.

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; German is a bonus.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with SAP innovations.

  • Customer-focused, with a knack for delivering high-quality consulting outcomes and building trusted client relationships.

Your future role

  • Lead and deliver consulting activities across the full project lifecycle — from fit-to-standard analysis and solution design to testing, training, and go-live support.

  • Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders to identify requirements, map processes, and propose optimized solutions based on SAP Best Practices.

  • Conduct Fit-to-Standard analyses, recommend standardized and scalable solutions, and document business process deviations and enhancement needs.

  • Design SAP FI/CO solutions that align with customer business models and S/4HANA Cloud standards.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., SD, MM, PS) to ensure integrated end-to-end process coverage.

  • Take ownership of configuration, testing, and key user enablement activities.

  • Prepare and deliver training sessions, solution documentation, and cutover support.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting and legal requirements in solution design.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to client key users and management, contributing to successful project outcomes.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior consultants, sharing best practices and encouraging knowledge development.
