Murex Consultant – Accounting – Capital Markets – Contract – 12 Months – Start ASAP

Murex Consultant - Accounting - Capital Markets - Contract - 12 Months - Start ASAP - UNIX/SQL

Next Ventures seeks an experience Murex Consultant (accounting) to work in Capital markets.

Must have below:

1. Product Knowledge:

○ Understanding of diverse asset classes, including Fixed Income, FX, Money Market (MM), Interest Rates (Rates), Securities, and Commodities.

2. Accounting Rules Setup:

○ Experience configuring accounting rules for trades,flows,hedge. This includes both out-of-the-box (OOB) rules and customized rules using simulation views.

3. Pre-Trade Workflow:

○ Understand pricing and booking sequences.

4. Datamart Reporting Chain:

○ Utilize it for PL (Profit and Loss) and GL (General Ledger) reports.

○ Able to work independently on Datamart challenges

5. Official P&L Generation:

○ Familiarize yourself with official P&L views.

6. Trade Lifecycle:

○ Navigate booking and market operations for FXMM, IRD vanilla products, Futures (including margin calls), and call accounts.

7. Murex Data Model

○ In-depth understanding of Murex data model

8. Confirmation Instruction Setup:

○ Configure filters using Murex Data Query Language.

9. User-Definable Fields:

○ Set up custom fields.

 

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Front Office modules: e-trade pad, simulation, P&L, GOM, PLVA, etc.
  • Experience in Pretrade , MSL, access rights, portfolio trees.
  • knowledge of market data (IR curves, volatility surfaces, bond/future prices, FX spot rates).
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills within Murex.
