Mulesoft APIM Flex GW Expert Developer - 12 months contract - German Speaking- Switzerland based

Next Ventures seeks an experienced Mulesoft Expert to deliver a project based in Switzerland.  The successful candidate must be German speaking to at least C1 level, and also be based locally in Switzerland to deliver the work. 

Note: Germany language is mandatory

  • Role/Function: Mulesoft APIM Flex GW Expert Developer
  • No. of requirement-2
  • Duration: 01.03.2026
  • Workload: Ideally 1 person with 200 person-days per year (distribution negotiated annually)
  • Location & Onsite/Remote Ratio: Hybrid – partly onsite in CH during agreed phases, especially at the start; partly online/remote in the same time zone
  • Tasks/Environment/Technologies:
  • Supplement and strengthen the core team with a Senior Consultant/Developer in APIM (Mulesoft Flex)
  • Establish a stable, medium-term (three-year) collaboration to ensure successful migration steps
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to core team during transition from project to operations
  • Deliver the agreed 200 days per year, hybrid (onsite or online)
  • Shape collaboration with wider company Operations for future operations
  • Proactively achieve insights and secure results
  • Act independently and proactively to relieve the core team

  • Local sponsorship (CTO)
  • Priority lifecycle project
  • Local core team (small, professional)
  • Extended core team (expertise in network, OpenPaas, architecture, security, etc.)
  • APIM platform operator
  • Product teams (API consumers/providers via agile CH processes)
  • Cross Product Manager (project support)

Technologies and Tools:

  • Mulesoft Flex GW (version 1.10.x)
  • Flex GW PDK (Policy Development Kit)
  • Mulesoft Anypoint UI
  • Azure OpenPaas
  • API client Bruno (or Postman)
  • SOAP and REST
  • API Security (OAuth, mTLS, etc.)

Language Skills:

  • Fluent German (at least C1)
  • Good English (at least B2)
  • Preferred language for collaboration with core team is German
