Executive Director, Accounting

I’m working with a top-tier, mission-driven insurance organization looking to hire a senior investment accounting leader to take full ownership of their investment accounting & cash strategy.

This is a high-visibility, enterprise role — you’ll sit at the intersection of accounting, investments, and strategy, with real influence on decision-making.

What you’ll own:

  • End-to-end investment accounting + cash management
  • STAT & GAAP reporting (accuracy, compliance, delivery)
  • Oversight of outsourced providers
  • Technical accounting leadership (insurance investments)
  • Liquidity, forecasting, and investment strategy support
  • Driving process improvements + strengthening controls
  • Leading and building a high-performing team

What they need:

  • CPA Qualified
  • 10+ years in investment accounting (insurance strongly preferred)
  • Deep STAT & GAAP expertise
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong technical + strategic mindset
  • Workday Experience 

📍 Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)
