Senior Java Developer – Leading Financial Advisors – Frankfurt (Hybrid)

We are recruiting for the largest financial advisory firm in the DACH region, who are supported by the biggest banking and insurance institutions in Europe. Their entire business is going through a massive digital transformation and we are searching for several Senior Java Developers to join their core team in Frankfurt.

The product you will be developing will support over 40,000 financial advisors and wealth managers, who work with customers to maximise their wealth portfolio and insurance plans. As part of the transformation, they have migrated their core product to a modern Java – Microservice based architecture, running in cloud native environment using Docker, Kubernetes and Azure.

You will be part of a cross functional team full of experienced and highly talented developers, QAs, product owners and requirement engineer. They are following a 2 weekly sprints in Agile framework, with a focus developing highly scalable cutting edge financial platform, which can ingest high volumes of data and perform complex calculations & projections.

Tech stack: Java 17, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Typescript, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure and related tools & frameworks.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 3 years practical experience building Microservices using Java & spring boot
• Experience working in DevOps environment and comfortable with containerisation and orchestration software
• You strive for quality: Clean Code principles, TDD, eager to apply best practices
• You have a shared ownership mindset: as a self-organized, autonomous team, we take end-to-end responsibility for what we deliver together
• You are eager to solve complex problem and strive to build optimal software solutions
• Fluency in German and English (nice to have)
• Willingness to explore new trend and topics in software development
• Experience developing with Kotlin is desirable
• Experience developing frontend applications using JavaScript is desirable
