Summary Description: Contract SC Cleared Automation Test Manager for a large digital consultancy working with a number of public sector clients.

Location: UK remote

Essential Skills/Experience Description:
 

• Must have SC clearance, allowing you to work with sensitive UK government data.
• Proven experience as a Test Manager, Test Lead, or similar role, with a focus on automation testing.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
• Extensive experience in creating, executing, and maintaining automation test scripts for web-based applications.
• In-depth knowledge of various testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles, testing techniques, and defect management processes.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working within the UK public sector and knowledge of related compliance requirements (e.g., GDS standards, Security Guidelines) would be advantageous.
• Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB or Certified Selenium Professional, would be desirable.
