Application Support Engineer
A client of mine is looking for 2x Application Support Engineers to join their team, on an initial 6 month contract.
This position will be based fully on-site in Strasbourg.
The hourly rate for the role is 62 euros.
The Application Support Engineer has the following responsibilities:
• Taking full end-to-end responsibility for providing application support to the customer
• Finding permanent (or sustainable) solutions, or workarounds to incidents;
• If applicable, creating problem reports and / or change requests and linking them to incidents;
• Describing the solutions and confirming whether they will eventually lead to restoring service operations;
• Creating specific input required for incident reviews to be conducted by the customer, as well as continuous Knowledge Management (KM) feeds related to incidents.
• Participating in standby/ on-call duty.
Mandatory technical skills:
• Java : development language
• Spring Boot : micro-services framework
• Distributed Systems
• gRPC
