Project Manager - IT Infrastructure - Start ASAP - Warsaw/Wroclaw

Next Ventures seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead various Infra and CRM related projects across Poland.

A great Communicator and witha  PRINCE 2 Certification or the like, you will be a great leader who can drive important proejcts from inception to delivery.

We are lookign for skills in the following:

o   Network infrastructure

Capabilities and skills

1.    Managing IT Network projects

2.    Managing Data Center Infrastructure projects

3.    Network engineer skills

4.    Data center technologies

5.    Business-Language:

a.    English Professional working proficiency (used for daily work)

b.    Use of other European languages German, Hungarian and Serbian if necessary.

6.    Creating project plan

a.    Participating in the proposal phase to understand the background of the request

b.    Preparing a precise ‘step by step’ work breakdown structure of the project activities

7.    Actively managing projects

a.    Liaising with the customer and project team from the beginning of the project

b.    Progress monitoring and reporting

c.    Intervening proactively if necessary

d.    Escalating when the issue cannot be solved at PM level

8.    Facilitating all project related meetings

a.    Organizing and running a kick-off meeting to be sure the project participants are on the same page in the very beginning of the project

b.    Organizing and running regular (e.g. weekly) meetings on status and monitoring progress

c.    Organizing and running milestone/project closure meetings (validating delivery)

d.    Concluding the project with a lessons learnt meeting

9.    Maintaining documentation

a.    Building project documentation according to the Account/PMO policies

b.    Ensuring the project members are following the documentation policies (e.g. using the proper templates, required reviews)

c.    Keeping in touch with the counterpart PM to exchange the documents created in the course of the project

10. Identifying user requirements, managing change requests

a.    Monitoring of customer requests and aligning those to the scope, timeline and budget.

b.    Managing Project Change Requests (PCR) in case the project boundaries are to be adjusted.

c.    Proactively managing changes in program/project scope in order to minimize risks.

11. Validating delivery by developing and completing test plans

a.    Ensuring the project develops comprehensive test plan and test scenarios (if applicable)

b.    Test activities in the project plan

c.    Test protocol design (e.g. on User Acceptance Tests)

12. Communicating with Managers, Clients, Team Members, External Vendors

a.    Keeping updated all participants/stakeholders to help promoting the effective work

b.    Facilitate across the parties to allow the required information flow

c.    Documenting all relevant pieces of information regarding the project

13. Developing best practices and tools

a.    Using and teaching (if necessary) the mandatory or recommended methodologies (especially PMBoK) and tools

14. Risk management

a.    Identifying, documenting, assessing and managing project risks

b.    Maintaining project and global account Risk Register

c.    Escalating all significant risks to PMO and Account Management

d.    Actively exploiting all positive risks

e.    Mitigating and/or reducing the impact of all negative risks to an acceptable leve
